cb000
Okay...so this is my little art gallery...
I draw a lot, mostly during school. I guess some people call it doodling, but it helps me pass the time through those boring lectures. So it's during school that my style evolves and improves. You probably won't get to see many of my sketches, since they don't fully reflect my abilities, but you will get to see my finished works. I used to avoid drawing on the computer when I only had MS paint (which I found to be inconvenient), but now that I have Opencanvas (moving onto SAI once I can afford it), I've almost completely moved on to digital art. Oh, and I completely revamped my digital art style, so you will see a huge shift in style if you look through my gallery. But again, I do have a busy schedule, so don't expect me to put out new drawings very often.
You'll also notice that most of the pictures are of my own Yoshi character, cb000, and that's because I don't have time for requests, though I get one once in a while. I don't even have a request thread on the forums! I also have several other characters that I've made for my fan fics, and I usually draw them just to have a reference pic for them. I might draw them more if I feel like it.
My style has "evolved" so that my Yoshis stand upright. They have taller bodies and slightly smaller noses (compared to my old style). I left their legs thick and relatively short, and their arms are pretty long, I guess. Their hands are smaller because I found the original Yoshi's hands to be too big, and the feet are larger. And yes, the eyes are going to remain black and generally style-less as long as I have my trusty pen. I'll make "fancier" eyes on the computer, however. I usually draw my Yoshis facing the viewer's right. I try not to draw from other perspectives because that means I have to practice that certain perspective a few times to get used to it, and I really lack the patience to do that, but occasionally I'll move beyond my comfort zone to experiment.
You may be wondering about the name "cb000." I know it sounds strange, but I do have a somewhat long history behind that name, which only a few of my friends know about. Just know that you have to spell it out when saying his name; c-b-zero-zero-zero. Or if you're lazy, like me, you can just say "cb." There is a subsitute for that name, and it's Mr. Sky, also with its own history, which I'm too lazy to tell. Also remember that the name is NEVER CAPITALIZED, except in a few cases. So disregard grammar rules when writing it down.
So enjoy my pictures! Feel free to look at them, copy/paste them onto your computer (I don't know if you want to or not), or steal them...I don't mind, actually.
Current status: Sophomore year at Cornell. I'll draw whenever schoolwork doesn't get me.
